Let go. Just get out and switch off completely, sometimes that feels incredibly good. Even if we feel comfortable in our everyday environment with its routines and challenges, even if we are absorbed in our work - small breaks help us to process what has happened. They allow a change of perspective and create space for new ideas. And they give us energy.
Such a break may mean something different for everyone. For us, it's usually joint sports units in which we recharge our batteries despite physical exertion. Sometimes it's a game of soccer or padel, sometimes a run during the lunch break or a gravel lap after work.
Of course, it's best when the whole team comes together. So last week we went on a racing bike trip to the Rur-Eifel – with dinner together, an overnight stay and a leisurely return trip the next day. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind and getting to know your colleagues from a completely different perspective was incredibly nice and makes you want to do more activities together. We are convinced that a strengthened group feeling always has a positive impact on our daily work.
