The American company convinces with its variety of functional fabrics, which are specially designed for every sporting challenge or weather condition. By specializing in combining a wide variety of fibers, Polartec now has an impressive range of targeted functional clothing. Original properties of nature are expanded with artificial fibers and thus achieve maximum functionality.

They have set themselves the task of manufacturing the highest quality functional textiles while at the same time reducing harmful emissions. Polartec® Power Wool®
The innovative Power Wool manufactured by Polartec was used for the Ritual Thermal Midlayer. The Power Wool combines all the properties that keep you warm and dry on cold days. The fabric used consists of a two-component knit construction that combines high-quality merino wool and polyester. This creates two different surfaces.
The main task of the inside, which is made of merino wool , is to transport the moisture produced by the skin to the outside in the form of water vapor. Once sweat reaches the outside, it spreads out and dries, preventing clammy skin in the first place. The coarse structure of the wool fiber and the arrangement as a lattice structure create open air channels that create a warming microclimate.
The outside of the two-component fabric consists of a moisture-wicking polyester /nylon blend. Apart from the fast moisture transport, the polyester layer guarantees a stable and robust outside. Due to a minimal proportion of elastane and the flatlock seams used, the mid-layer is barely noticeable and close to the body. The high collar including camlock slider warms the neck and protects against the wind.
