What injuries can I get while running?
Unfortunately, there are a number of potential injuries that can occur when running. One of the most common injuries is overuse of joints such as knees, hips and ankles. This can lead to pain and inflammation that can make it difficult to continue exercising. Another common injury is shin splints, which are caused by overloading the muscles in the front of the lower leg.
Ligament tears or strains can also occur when running if the ankle twists. Another possible injury is plantar fasciitis, which is caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, the ligament that connects the arch of the foot.
It's important to make sure that you don't overload yourself while running and that you give yourself enough time for rest and regeneration. You should also be well warmed up before you start exercising and equip yourself with the right shoes and clothing to minimize injuries.
We at RYZON love running and are happy to support you with the right running clothing to get closer to your goals.
